Description We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio, on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee scheduling and resource allocation to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in logistics within the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the Gradex service schedule, aligning customer service dates with team availability and contracted agreements.
• Collaborate with service technician partners to allocate resources effectively for scheduled visits.
• Process parts orders for upcoming service appointments, ensuring timely delivery and tracking pre-visit requirements.
• Monitor and finalize post-visit activities, including billing, technician trip reports, and follow-up with customers.
• Keep accurate records of both active and proposed service contracts to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to track project statuses and resolve any logistical challenges.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation related to scheduling changes or service updates.
• Identify and address any scheduling conflicts to maintain efficient workflows.
• Provide administrative support for logistics-related tasks as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in managing schedules or similar logistical coordination tasks.
• Background in customer-facing roles with a focus on service delivery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Microsoft GP and Access is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD 2D and 3D is advantageous but not required.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
