Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Job Description

As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for moving finished products from workstations to the shipping area. This role involves preparing products for shipment, including boxing, packaging, printing labels, shrink wrapping, and loading parts onto trucks. You will also handle the transfer of parts throughout the shop and enter data into the computer system. This position requires extensive walking to move parts and assist builders.

Responsibilities

  • Move finished products from workstations to the shipping area.

  • Prepare products for shipment, including boxing, packaging, printing labels, and shrink wrapping.

  • Load parts onto trucks for delivery.

  • Enter the transfer of parts into the computer system.

  • Assist builders by moving parts as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of shipping/warehouse experience

  • Forklift experience (sitdown)

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to walk 5+ miles per day

  • Stable work history with a good resume

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment (hot in summer, especially in the paint department)

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including Fridays and rarely Saturdays

  • Good attitude and cultural fit

Work Environment

The work schedule is 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, with flexibility on end times. Be prepared to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, which may be hot during the summer. The role requires extensive walking and occasional overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
