Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Rate: $24/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15am–4:45pm

Why This Role Matters

This position plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive accurate and timely diagnostic testing. As a key point of contact, you help create a positive patient experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens from patients using proper techniques for accuracy and patient comfort

• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections and patient information

• Provide excellent customer service while creating a calm, professional environment

• Follow all safety, compliance, and confidentiality protocols

• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Basic keyboard and data entry proficiency

• Flexibility to support staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, or overtime when required

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
