Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join the team of a Logistics company on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position involves assisting with a project to support the annual physical inventory process. If you have strong organizational skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role offers a great opportunity to gain experience and earn extra income. Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate stock counts and verify inventory levels.

• Reconcile physical inventory data with existing records to identify discrepancies.

• Enter inventory data into spreadsheets or database systems with precision.

• Assist with general clerical tasks related to inventory management.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of the inventory process.

• Follow established procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency.

• Use inventory software and tools, such as Excel, to track data.

• Report findings or issues to supervisors for resolution.

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines in the warehouse.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.

• Familiarity with database management and inventory tracking systems.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.

• Basic office skills, including organizational and clerical abilities.

• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a team-oriented environment.

• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to completing the project.

• Experience conducting inventory audits or similar tasks is preferred.
