Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Oakland, California. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to project management staff, ensuring smooth workflows and timely delivery of project objectives. This is a long-term contract position within the healthcare industry, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through coordination, analysis, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and support assigned projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Assist project managers in managing project lifecycles, including monitoring progress and addressing any workflow challenges.
• Collaborate with IT professionals and external vendors to develop programming, conduct testing, and oversee quality assurance.
• Generate analytical reports to assess project status and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Perform financial analysis by entering data into systems and generating reports based on appropriate codes.
• Organize and maintain project documentation, ensuring all records are stored correctly and deficiencies are resolved.
• Monitor team activities and document progress, highlighting areas requiring follow-up.
• Participate in client meetings, identifying follow-up tasks and ensuring all deliverables are addressed.
• Support general administrative duties, including photocopying, scanning, and storing critical documents.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the team. Requirements
Required Skills:
Foundational understanding of project management principles and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Effective interpersonal skills for working with technical teams and leadership
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to shifting project needs
Proficient in data tracking, documentation, and reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
5–7 years of professional experience in a project coordination or related role
