Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team in Norwalk, Connecticut. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for visitors while ensuring daily operations at the front desk run smoothly. This is a Contract position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your organizational and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors with a friendly and detail-oriented attitude.
• Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring inquiries are promptly addressed.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area at all times.
• Provide accurate information about the organization to guests and callers.
• Monitor visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed.
Requirements
• Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to consistently demonstrate a detail-oriented approach in all interactions.
• High level of attention to detail and reliability.
• Customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
