Job Title: Construciton Equipment Operator - Pipe Crew

Job Description

Join a leading civil site contractor in the Beaufort area as a Pipe Crew Operator. Work with a team that values collaboration and growth, with the opportunity to be home every night due to limited travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other equipment for underground utility pipe work.

• Assist with manual labor tasks including shoveling, trench work, and loading/unloading supplies.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure project completion, taking on tasks beyond operating machinery.

• Maintain a reliable and punctual work ethic, contributing positively to the crew.

Essential Skills

• Experience with operating equipment / pipe laying in a commercial setting.

• Trench work, rigging, and lowering pipes into trenches.

• Experience with equipment operating preferred.

• Flexible availability for overtime and potential weekend work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and understand civil construction plans.

• Willingness to submit to a drug test.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaufort, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
