Job Title: Technician – Foundation Crew Helper
Job Description
Join a foundation crew as a Technician Helper, supporting the setup and maintenance of foundational structures for grain facilities. You will work hands-on with concrete, construction, and conveying systems in an outdoor, fast-paced environment. This role offers contract-to-hire stability, exposure to industrial construction, and the opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople while contributing to safe and efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
Assist in setting up and maintaining foundational structures for grain facilities within a 60-mile radius of Lebanon, Indiana.
Dig foundations and prepare sites to support equipment operation and structural installations.
Form, pour, and finish concrete pads in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Assemble conveying systems using a variety of fasteners and tools, ensuring secure and accurate installation.
Perform general labor duties, including gathering materials, staging supplies, and organizing job sites.
Manage and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, stored properly, and ready for use.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the construction site to support safe and efficient operations.
Work collaboratively with other trades and companies on-site, coordinating tasks in an active grain facility environment.
Continuously monitor surroundings and follow safety protocols while working around grain silos and frequent truck traffic.
Adapt work practices to changing weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold, while maintaining productivity and safety.
Essential Skills
Experience working outside in all weather conditions, including summer heat, rain, and winter cold.
Hands-on experience in construction or labor-intensive outdoor work environments.
Concrete handling skills, including forming, pouring, and finishing concrete pads.
Ability to assist with the assembly of conveying systems using various fasteners and tools.
Strong safety awareness and the ability to remain alert in busy construction and grain facility environments.
Team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside other trades and companies.
Adaptability to weather conditions and changing site demands.
Willingness to learn from others and absorb new techniques and processes quickly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Industrial construction experience (highly preferred).
Previous concrete experience beyond basic handling.
Previous welding experience.
Experience installing grain bins is a strong plus.
Familiarity with working in grain facilities or similar industrial outdoor environments.
Comfort working in a contract-to-hire arrangement over a 6-month period.

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site, outdoor role based in Lebanon, Indiana, with work typically performed within a 60-mile radius of the main location. You will work on active construction sites in grain facilities with large grain silos and frequent truck traffic throughout the day. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring constant awareness of surroundings and coordination with multiple trades and companies. Work is performed in all weather conditions, including summer heat, rain, and winter cold, and involves physical labor such as digging, lifting, and handling concrete and construction materials. This is a contract-to-hire position with a 6-month duration, offering consistent on-site work. The required dress attire includes sturdy boots, jeans without holes, and high-visibility shirts in bright colors to support safety and visibility on the job.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
