Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals for two warehouse roles: one in the main warehouse and another in the freezer. These positions are open to entry-level candidates who are comfortable working in cold environments. In the general warehouse, you will handle materials using electric double-edged pallet jacks, load and unload boxes, and stage them from trucks to the warehouse. In the freezer, you will operate a reach truck to manage inventory and transport it to the main warehouse, working in temperatures ranging from 0 to -10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to handle materials.

• Load and unload boxes and pallets from trucks.

• Stage pallets once unloaded and move them to designated areas.

• Operate reach trucks to store and retrieve materials from high shelves.

• Work collaboratively with a team of 8-9 individuals.

• Participate in daily meetings to discuss orders and daily tasks.

• Lift materials weighing up to 80lbs regularly.

• Ensure timely attendance and adherence to the point system for tardiness and absences.

Essential Skills

• At least one month of warehouse experience

Work Environment

The work environment is a cold storage setting, with the main warehouse maintained at 32 degrees Fahrenheit and the freezer at temperatures ranging from 0 to -10 degrees. The warehouse is large, clean, and well-organized, with high shelves in the freezer. Standard working hours are from 7/8 am to 3/4 pm, with potential for overtime during the busy season.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taunton, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
