Job Title: Sit‑Down Forklift Operator / Packing Associate

Shift: 4:30am-3pm Mon-Thurs
Pay: $16.50

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Sit‑Down Forklift Operator who will also assist with the packing and preparation of finished chairs for shipment. This role supports both warehouse operations and production by moving materials efficiently and ensuring products are properly packed to quality standards. The ideal candidate has sit‑down forklift experience, is comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, and is willing to assist with manual packing duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a sit‑down forklift to move chairs, materials, pallets, and finished goods throughout the facility
Load and unload materials from trailers and designated storage areas
Supply production and packing areas with required materials
Assist with packing, wrapping, and preparing chairs for shipment
Ensure chairs are packed securely to prevent damage during transport
Perform basic inspections of materials and finished products
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior sit‑down forklift operating experience
Ability to safely handle and move furniture and materials
Willingness to assist with manual packing and warehouse tasks
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and workplace safety
Dependable attendance and team‑oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift certification (or ability to become certified)
Experience in furniture manufacturing, packing, or warehouse operations
Work Environment
Manufacturing and warehouse setting
Combination of forklift operation and hands‑on packing work

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
