Job Title: Autoclave Washroom Technician
Job Description
The Autoclave Washroom Technician works in a cleanroom environment washing and handling medical devices using industrial sink and wash equipment.
This role involves standing for the majority of the shift, carefully cleaning devices that can weigh up to 40–50 pounds when filled, and ensuring all items meet strict cleanliness and handling standards.
Fast food workers, kitchen prep type workers tend to work well in these positions
1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities
Wash and clean medical devices using large industrial kitchen-style sinks and related wash equipment.
Handle and move medical devices that can weigh up to 40–50 pounds when filled, using proper lifting and handling techniques.
Follow cleanroom procedures and hygiene protocols to maintain a controlled and contamination-free environment.
Operate washroom and dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
Inspect devices before and after washing to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality expectations.
Organize and stage devices before washing and after cleaning to support smooth workflow.
Work independently to manage daily cleaning tasks and maintain consistent productivity.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the washroom and cleanroom work areas.
Follow written instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures at all times.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process deviations promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills
High school diploma.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a cleanroom environment.
Capability to stand on feet for the entire shift.
Ability to lift, carry, and handle items weighing approximately 40–50 pounds when filled.
Experience or comfort using industrial dishwashing or washroom equipment.
Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and adherence to procedures.
Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Reliability and punctuality to support consistent operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
Experience washing or handling medical devices or similar sensitive equipment.
Familiarity with industrial kitchen or dishwashing operations.
Comfort following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
