Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker accurately picks, packs, and ships customer orders while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, involves regular use of material handling equipment, and includes supporting light production tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and related warehouse systems.
Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct items, quantities, and packaging materials.
Load and unload materials, products, and pallets from trucks or staging areas using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment as needed.
Perform order pulling and order picking activities to support daily shipping schedules.
Label products, boxes, and pallets clearly and correctly to ensure accurate inventory and shipment tracking.
Palletize finished orders and materials in a safe, organized manner for storage or shipment.
Support general production tasks, including light manufacturing or assembly work as required.
Handle general labor duties such as organizing shelves, staging materials, and maintaining clean work areas.
Use RF scan guns to track inventory movements, verify orders, and update stock levels.
Assist with warehouse inventory activities, including counting, tracking, and organizing stock.
Perform material handling tasks such as moving, stacking, and storing products safely and efficiently.
Participate in warehouse packing and shipping operations to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly while maintaining proper safety and lifting techniques.
Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Follow all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Essential Skills
Ability to accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience with general warehouse tasks such as order picking, packing, loading, unloading, and palletizing.
Ability to use RF scanners or RF scan guns for order picking, inventory tracking, and verification.
Capability to perform material handling duties, including operating pallet jacks and handling pallets safely.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate orders, labeling, and inventory handling.
Dependable work habits, including consistent attendance and punctuality.
Willingness to learn new tasks, processes, and equipment in a warehouse and production environment.
Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to support coworkers.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous warehouse or production experience (preferred, not required).
Experience with forklifts or other powered industrial trucks (preferred).
Familiarity with warehouse packing, labeling, and shipping processes.
Experience in general production or light manufacturing environments.
Interest in learning metal fabrication and equipment operation.
Comfort using basic warehouse tools and equipment such as pallet jacks and material handling devices.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.

Work Environment
This position is based in a smaller, well-lit, climate-controlled warehouse that supports both warehouse and light production activities. You will work a steady Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The environment involves regular use of material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and potentially forklifts, with frequent lifting and movement of materials up to 50 lbs. The facility emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork, providing a comfortable and stable setting for day-to-day operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
