Job Title: Production Worker – (3rd Shift)
Job Description
This role supports the production line that transforms liquid polymer into finished foam parts. You will perform a variety of general production tasks, including operating equipment, preparing and cleaning tooling, inspecting product quality, and packaging finished goods. The position is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys repetitive, detail-oriented work in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operate production equipment, including loading and unloading materials and performing basic troubleshooting to keep the line running smoothly.
Perform kitting tasks by removing used inserts from the metal plates, cleaning both the inserts and base plates, stacking them on carts, and supplying clean tooling back to the production line.
Carry out busy, multitask-oriented work as a kitter, maintaining a steady flow of cleaned and prepared inserts to support continuous production.
Inspect finished foam parts one by one as they exit the curing equipment, checking for correct shape, consistency, and firmness (not too hard or too soft).
Essential Skills
Previous manufacturing experience in a production, general labor, or assembly line environment.
Manual dexterity in both hands
Ability to work mandatory overtime as required by production schedules.
Capability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and product quality.
Comfort working with production and machine operation processes in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to stand for a full shift, aside from scheduled breaks, when required by the position.
Willingness and ability to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection at all times in the production area.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in quality inspection or quality-focused roles on an assembly or production line.
Comfort working in a busy, multitasking role such as kitting or material preparation.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to standardized work procedures.

Work Environment
This is a high-volume manufacturing line environment, focused on producing foam parts. The role is on 3rd shift. Initially, the schedule is four 12-hour shifts from approximately 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., Monday night through Friday night, with each employee working four of those five nights and having weekends off. Within the next several weeks, the schedule will transition to 8-hour 3rd shift hours, approximately 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday. The production area is cool, around 65 degrees, and includes conveyor lines, curing equipment, small hand tools, scales, and workstations with both standing and some seated positions. However, you should be prepared to stand for the full shift outside of breaks if needed. Personal protective equipment is required at all times, including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and quality standards while working at a steady, consistent pace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
