Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting property operations and ensuring optimal facility performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Rate : $20/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities.

• Assist senior mechanics with maintenance and repair efforts while independently completing defined tasks.

• Inspect and repair property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.

• Maintain documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systems to ensure compliance.

• Complete special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office, Outlook, and CMMS (Maximo).

• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft., and work in adverse conditions including extreme temperatures.
