DESCRIPTION

This position is open to candidates in Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; and Jacksonville, FL , with a #Hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

You will play a critical role within the Legal team , ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies in the United States and Canada . This position leads impartial investigations , gathers and analyzes facts, and delivers findings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct investigations involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage/hour claims; deliver clear findings and next steps.

  • Draft position statements in response to Department of Labor (DOL) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charges

  • Partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to support ongoing legal matters

  • Drive compliance initiatives and process improvements to ensure alignment with employment regulations and company policies

  • Serve as a subject matter expert providing guidance and training to HR on investigations

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of and experience with employment laws and regulations , including but not limited to, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, ADEA

  • Expertise and ability to investigate in complex, unclear, and stressful situations with limited direction

  • Strong analytical and writing skills

  • Advanced research and critical thinking skills

  • Manage multiple matters independently and collaboratively

  • High discretion, attention to detail, and strong written/verbal communication
