Our client, a leader in the consumer products industry, is seeking a LAB Technician I to join their team. As a LAB Technician I, you will be part of the Home Improvement Consumer Products Lab supporting research, development, and quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Technician I

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: 18-21/hr

What's the Job?

• Prepare materials and organize setups for product testing

• Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research

• Perform mechanical performance tests for research, development, or quality control purposes

• Conduct visual observations and testing on competitor product samples and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders

• Perform hands-on testing using multiple pieces of laboratory equipment

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform physical and mechanical analyses and tests

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, active environment

• Good communication skills for reporting test results

• Physical ability to move, arrange, sort, and hang product testing weights (2 lbs-20 lbs)
