Job Title: Service Electrician

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Security Service Manager, the Security Alarm Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting CCTV, Card Access, Fire, and Burglar systems. This role involves diagnosing issues and making recommendations to either fix or replace systems based on what is best for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot CCTV, Card Access, Fire, and Burglar systems.

  • Diagnose and recommend solutions to fix or replace systems.

  • Communicate system needs and repairs with customers to restore normal operations.

  • Write detailed notes in work orders.

  • Communicate follow-up needs with the office.

  • Participate in on-call rotation.

  • Follow and promote safety processes.

  • Document parts used on jobs and follow processes to order materials.

  • Communicate with other technicians and provide technical support.

  • Promote and support the company’s core values.

Essential Skills

  • Low voltage electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of tools and safe usage.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both written and verbally.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

Work Environment

The schedule includes a 10-hour shift from Monday to Friday, with on-call rotations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
