MIG or TIG Welder

Fort Collins, CO

• Day or Swing shift available

  • $23–$27/hr (Day shift)

  • $23–$27/hr plus $1.50 shift differential (Swing shift)

• Monday–Friday

Position Summary

• Structural welding role focused on fabricating and assembling customer‑specified steel buildings and components

• Work emphasizes precision, strength, and durability while meeting specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

What You’ll Be Doing

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications

• Lay out, fit, and weld metal parts and assemblies to production measurements

• Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment

• Troubleshoot welding equipment and resolve basic issues

• Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces using fixtures prior to welding

• Inspect completed welds using measuring and testing tools to ensure quality and accuracy

• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials

• Assist with other shop duties such as cutting, assembly, or kitting as needed

• Follow all safety, quality, and production processes while using required PPE

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with equipment maintenance schedules

• Cross‑train and support other shop functions when needed

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a 3G FCAW weld test

• Ability to pass a 3G GMAW weld test

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Welding trade school certification is a plus

• Minimum of one year of welding experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally

• Comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, and movement throughout the shop

• Strong manual dexterity and mobility required
