Job Description
This is a multi-craft maintenance position responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. The role involves troubleshooting various machinery and equipment, including stamping presses, injection molding machines, PLCs, 6-axis robots, automated assembly lines, conveyors, and rubber mixing machinery. Additionally, the position includes checking boilers and air compressors, using a laptop for troubleshooting and documentation, and working within a CMMS system to follow a preventive maintenance schedule. The technician will also troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, maintain and repair pumps, motors, conveyor systems, and gearboxes, and follow and implement safety measures.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot machinery and equipment, including stamping presses, injection molding machines, PLCs, and 6-axis robots.
Check and maintain boilers and air compressors.
Use a laptop for troubleshooting machinery and documenting work orders.
Work within a CMMS system for work orders and follow a preventive maintenance schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Maintain and repair pumps, motors, conveyor systems, and gearboxes.
Follow and implement safety measures, including arc flash uniforms and lockout tag out procedures.
Essential Skills
2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience working with pumps and conveyors.
PLC troubleshooting experience, particularly with Mitsubishi PLCs.
Experience working with voltages of 208v and 24v AC/DC, 480V and 3-phase is a plus.
Basic computer and Excel skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Van Wert, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.41 - $34.29/hr.
