Job Description
This position is for a 3-5 month contract to support a large volume of work. The primary task involves breaking apart metal bars that have 10-15 parts, each 2-3 inches long, and then deburring them. There is currently an order for 47,000 pieces, with another large order expected.
Responsibilities
Break apart metal bars with 10-15 parts each
Deburr each part after separation
Ensure quality and precision in deburring
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Essential Skills
Experience in deburring
Proficiency with hand tools and grinding
Ability to stand on feet for 10-hour days
Previous metal manufacturing experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good communication skills

Work Environment
The work is carried out in a fabrication shop serving over 100 different customers. The facility is brand new, very clean, well-lit, air-conditioned in the summer, and well-ventilated. The fabrication run is on the 1st shift only, with core hours from 6am-3pm, although starting as early as 4am is allowed, but no later than 7am. The average workweek is 45-48 hours, and you will be done at noon on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
