Job Title: Door Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled commercial door installer to join our team. This role involves traveling to worksites, installing doors and hardware, and completing various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Travel in teams of two to worksites.

  • Install doors and hardware, bathroom partitions, and toiletries including handicap railings, toilet paper holders, coat/purse racks, towel racks, and lockers.

  • Perform light framing tear outs and haul away materials from job sites.

  • Organize tools in the truck effectively.

  • Track and document all job-related functions using company software.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in mechanical tasks and carpentry.

  • Experience with hand tools, doors, and hardware.

  • Knowledge of facility construction, installation, assembly, repair, and service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in doors and hardware installation.

  • Framing skills.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Strong customer service skills.

Work Environment

The dress code includes jeans or khakis, a T-shirt without holes or inappropriate statements, and work boots or steel-toe shoes. Work is scheduled Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional Saturday work depending on project deadlines and scheduling.

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
