Job Title: Exterior Paint Sprayer – Anaheim

Job Description

This role focuses on exterior painting of residential or multi-unit buildings, including stucco walls, wood trim, and railings. You will use spray equipment and standard painting tools to prepare and finish exterior surfaces to a high-quality standard on an active job site in the Huntington Beach area.

Responsibilities

  • Perform exterior painting on stucco walls, wood trim, and railings using spray equipment and traditional painting methods.

  • Set up, operate, and maintain paint sprayers to ensure consistent coverage and a professional finish.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, and caulking as needed.

  • Use tools such as work boots, two-gallon buckets, high-quality brushes, mini roller handles, putty knives, caulking guns, extension poles, and utility knives safely and effectively.

  • Assist with painting-related prep work, including masking, covering, and protecting surrounding areas.

  • Support basic drywall-related tasks connected to painting and prepping as required by the project.

  • Follow site safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the project.

  • Work cooperatively with the onsite team, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Inspect completed work for quality and make touch-ups or corrections as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Proven exterior paint sprayer experience, including setup and operation of spray guns.

  • Hands-on experience with paint preparation tasks such as sanding, caulking, and surface repair.

  • Ability to perform exterior painting on stucco, wood trim, and railings.

  • Proficient use of common painter’s tools, including brushes, rollers, putty knives, caulking guns, extension poles, and utility knives.

  • Capability to work safely and efficiently in an outdoor construction or renovation environment.

  • Reliable work ethic and consistently positive, professional attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with painting and prepping tasks on multi-unit residential properties.

  • Experience working with drywall in conjunction with painting projects.

  • Ability to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.

Work Environment

This is an outdoor role on an active job site at a multi-building apartment community in the Huntington Beach area. You will work primarily outside on stucco exteriors, wood trim, railings, and related surfaces, exposed to varying weather conditions. The environment involves typical construction-site activity, including ladders, equipment, and other trades working nearby. You will regularly use spray guns, brushes, rollers, buckets, putty knives, caulking guns, extension poles, and utility knives, and you should arrive with appropriate work boots and attire suitable for painting and outdoor work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stanton, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
