We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support document and transaction processing for a retail furniture organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with digital records, handling repetitive tasks accurately, and maintaining organized information across files and spreadsheets. The role focuses on keeping data current, reviewing documentation carefully, and helping ensure reliable record management through consistent, precise work. Due to the nature of the work and onsite requirements, preference will be given to Hawaii residents. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or reside within the region to meet business needs. Responsibilities:

• Convert paper and digital documents into organized electronic records through scanning, indexing, and proper file storage.

• Enter transactional information into Excel spreadsheets, ensuring all required details are recorded completely and accurately.

• Update existing data files as new information becomes available and verify entries to reduce errors.

• Examine invoices that have been uploaded automatically and correct date fields when adjustments are needed.

• Maintain well-structured digital records so documents can be retrieved quickly and efficiently.

• Perform routine quality checks to confirm that data, document labels, and supporting records are accurate and complete.

• Support day-to-day administrative data tasks by following established procedures and meeting processing deadlines.

Requirements • Experience with data entry, including numeric entry and computer-based record updates.

• Ability to type accurately and work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail.

• Basic to intermediate Excel skills for entering, updating, and reviewing transactional information.

• Comfortable working with scanned documents, electronic filing systems, and digital record organization.

• Strong accuracy and proofreading skills when handling invoices and other business documents.

• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency and quality.

• No prior experience is required; equivalent entry-level capability is welcome.
