Job Description
This entry-level role supports the manufacturing, handling, and storage of reinforced concrete pipe and precast products in a physically demanding environment. You will work with concrete materials, operate hand and power tools, and assist with machine upkeep while working both indoors and outdoors. The position involves mixing materials, preparing and maintaining molds, patching pipes, and performing routine tasks that keep production running efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Mix materials to help mold concrete products according to specifications.
Prepare, clean, and stage molds for concrete production to ensure they are ready for daily use.
Pour concrete into forms, finish surfaces, and remove concrete from forms once cured.
Patch and repair concrete pipes to meet quality and structural standards.
Assist with preventative maintenance and basic upkeep of plant equipment and machinery.
Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints on a daily basis to ensure accurate measurements and production.
Handle, move, and store reinforced concrete pipe and precast products safely and efficiently.
Use hand and power tools to complete various general labor and production tasks.
Work effectively in a physically demanding, indoor/outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping standards.
Follow production schedules, instructions, and quality requirements to meet daily output goals.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support continuous production operations.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of tools and equipment.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Experience working outdoors in physically demanding conditions.
Experience using hand tools and power tools in a labor or construction setting.
Concrete work or construction experience, highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
Capability to stand on your feet for 8 or more hours per day.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and quality work.
Dependable work ethic with a focus on safety and reliability.
Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in a dirty, loud, dusty, hot, and cold environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in concrete production, construction, or general labor roles.
Familiarity with reinforced concrete pipe and precast products is beneficial.
Ability to assist with basic preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Comfort working with industrial tools and equipment in a plant environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate tasks with coworkers.
Willingness to work overtime, including regular overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays.

Work Environment
This role is based in a concrete plant with a tough industrial environment that is dirty, loud, dusty, and subject to hot and cold temperatures. You will work both indoors and outdoors and must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. The schedule is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with regular overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays, and 10–20 hours of overtime available per week. All tools required for the job are provided, and uniforms are supplied after 30 days. The environment involves working around heavy materials, reinforced concrete pipe, precast products, and plant equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and proper use of hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
