Primary Purpose
The Supervisor, Labor Compliance Prevailing Wage is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of
labor compliance activities, with a focus on prevailing wage requirements for construction projects. This
role supervises labor compliance staff, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of certified payrolls
and related documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, including the Davis-
Bacon Act and other applicable laws. The Supervisor ensures organizational compliance through
ongoing monitoring, submission of conformance requests, and maintenance of complete and accurate
records. Additionally, this position provides guidance to internal stakeholders and plays a key role in
audits, training, and the continuous improvement of labor compliance processes.
Essential Functions
• Lead, train, and guide the prevailing wage team to ensure high performance, consistent application of
policies, and cross-training for coverage and continuity.
• Oversee accurate and timely processing of multi-state prevailing wage payrolls, ensuring alignment with
internal procedures and payroll department deadlines.
• Work on special projects for prevailing wage and cross-functionally across the organization to meet broader
objectives
• Ensure full compliance with federal (e.g., Davis-Bacon Act, FLSA), state, and local prevailing wage laws,
including submitting conformance requests and monitoring project-level compliance.
• Interpret legal, regulatory and contractual documents related to prevailing wage requirements, and review
bid specs for compliance.
• Maintain and manage certified payroll systems, compliance software, and accurate prevailing wage records
and documentation.
• Provide training and support to internal stakeholders (e.g., project managers, superintendents) on
prevailing wage regulations and reporting requirements.
• Working knowledge of Prevailing Wage - Davis Bacon and Related activity
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HRIS, Benefits, LOA, and external legal/government entities to resolve
compliance issues and support audits.
• Perform other duties and/or complete other projects as assigned.

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
Salary Range
$77,400.00 – $112,200.00 / year
