Traveling Welder with pay up to $35/hour in Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel nationwide to support new construction, remodel, and maintenance projects at power plants

• Perform 80% technician work (inspection, cleaning, maintenance of bus duct systems)

• Perform 20% TIG welding on aluminum components (horizontal & vertical welding)

• Conduct stick welding on structural steel when required

• Install and refurbish bus duct systems (rigging, alignment, torquing, painting, plating)

• Work in confined industrial spaces and follow strict safety procedures

• Support outage and service call work under time-sensitive conditions

• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as per project standards

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience (aluminum preferred) OR technical school + 1 year experience

• Experience with aluminum pipe welding (1/8" to 1" thickness)

• Ability to perform stick welding on structural components

• Comfortable working in tight spaces and industrial environments

• Physically capable of demanding work schedules

• Willingness to travel extensively (60%+ of the year)

• Valid REAL ID or Passport

• Flexible to work long hours, day/night shifts, and changing schedules

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
