Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

This role focuses on sorting and separating recyclable materials in a warehouse environment and operating specialized equipment such as a baler and Styrofoam densifier to support efficient recycling processes.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and separate various recyclable materials according to established procedures and quality standards.

  • Operate the baler to compact recyclable materials safely and efficiently.

  • Operate the Styrofoam densifier to process Styrofoam and related materials in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.

  • Inspect materials for contamination and remove any non-recyclable items before processing.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

  • Follow all equipment operating procedures and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse as needed.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and recycling goals.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to safely sort and handle various recyclable materials.

  • Ability to learn and operate a baler in a warehouse or industrial setting.

  • Ability to learn and operate a Styrofoam densifier following detailed instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure proper separation of materials and safe equipment use.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse setting focused on recycling operations. You work on a 2nd shift schedule from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The role involves standing for extended periods, handling materials, and operating equipment such as a baler and Styrofoam densifier. The environment includes typical warehouse conditions, such as exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures, and requires appropriate work attire and adherence to all safety guidelines and protective equipment requirements.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Peters, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $18.70/hr.
