As a Senior Analyst on the Brand Public Relations team, you’ll provide key support for your team to bring Lowe’s to the forefront of national and local conversations through breakthrough moments that drive headline-grabbing attention, shape perceptions and build lasting relationships with customers and communities through the power of earned media.

We are seeking an organized, proactive and passionate PR pro with blossoming media relations skills and strategic storytelling prowess to join our team. This is a role poised for growth and greatness at the heart of our brand — perfect for a PR professional who is equal parts creative , strategic and collaborative .

What you will do

  • Assist in the execution of overarching PR strategy across consumer news, trade and lifestyle verticals to build consistent, strategic brand presence and maximize every brand moment.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists and content creators.

  • Own areas of press material creation, including press releases, pitches, product sampling and creative moments that are always within Lowe’s brand standards.

  • Assist in the development of brand-building opportunities for Marketing and Merchandising executives including awards, panels, events and earned thought leadership coverage.

  • Manage reactive media inquiries and craft thoughtful responses, statements and talking points.

  • Work with PR agency partners to track, measure and report on PR performance with a keen understanding and clear communication of the work’s impact on driving business results and brand equity.

  • Collaborate with peers across brand marketing, social media and creative teams to ensure messaging alignment and to capitalize on brand moments.

  • Proactively spot trends, news moments and culture shifts and craft smart pitches that put Lowe’s at the center of that story.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field

  • 2-4 years of Public Relations experience (agency or in-house) with a proven results in PR strategy, media relations and campaign execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations experience

  • Experience in retail marketing and/or operations
