Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Electrician Helper to support licensed electricians on commercial construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while working for a company that values work-life balance and

Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with commercial electrical installations and repairs
Carry, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials
Help run conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) under supervision
Assist with pulling wire and cable through conduit
Support installation of electrical boxes, lighting fixtures, outlets, and switches
Assist with grounding and bonding tasks
Perform basic measuring, cutting, drilling, and fastening tasks
Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable using a drill and basic hand tools (must be able to bring/provide your own tools)
Proficient with a tape measure
Valid driver’s license – no exceptions
Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn

Optional overtime may be offered on Saturdays

6” ankle-high work boots (steel or composite toe required)
No cut-off shirts or shorts
All required PPE is provided (high-visibility vest, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
