Electrician Helper $15-$19/hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Optional overtime available)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Electrician Helper to support licensed electricians on commercial construction projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while working for a company that values work-life balance and

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with commercial electrical installations and repairs

• Carry, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials

• Help run conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) under supervision

• Assist with pulling wire and cable through conduit

• Support installation of electrical boxes, lighting fixtures, outlets, and switches

• Assist with grounding and bonding tasks

• Perform basic measuring, cutting, drilling, and fastening tasks

• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable using a drill and basic hand tools (must be able to bring/provide your own tools)

• Proficient with a tape measure

• Valid driver’s license – no exceptions

• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn

• Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday

• Optional overtime may be offered on Saturdays

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
