Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a very busy San Diego non-profit! This is a wonderful opportunity to support a team that is doing important work for the community.

This is an on-site opportunity, contract-to-hire, that starts immediately:

Your responsibilities in this role

• Provide heavy data entry support to the accounting team

• Reviewing and coding invoices for Accounts Payable

• Standard accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

• Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources

• Categorize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes

• Help Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balanc

  Requirements

• AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

• Data entry experience required

• Microsoft Excel experience
