Job Description
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Pipefitters to support a water/wastewater rehabilitation project. This role involves installing, modifying, and repairing process piping systems in an industrial environment, including treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and maintain process piping systems made from carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, and PVC/HDPE.
Perform flange-to-flange installation, alignment, and bolting to ensure proper system integrity.
Install and assemble mechanical joint piping systems, including gaskets, glands, and restraints.
Execute bull rigging and advanced rigging operations to move and position pipe, valves, and equipment.
Perform rigging, hoisting, and signaling for cranes and heavy equipment during lifts.
Assist with setting pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment, including precision alignment.
Measure, cut, thread, groove, and assist with welding pipe to specification.
Perform tie-ins, retrofits, and rehab work within existing or live systems.
Essential Skills
3–10 years of mechanical pipefitting experience in an industrial or wastewater setting.
Proficiency in flange-to-flange pipe installation.
Experience with mechanical joints (MJ piping).
Skills in rigging, signaling, and hoisting operations.
Experience working on water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, or industrial facilities.
Knowledge of grooved, threaded, flanged, and welded piping systems.
Understanding of equipment setting, rigging, and alignment practices.
Valid driver's license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in handling complex mechanical and process systems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a growing team environment.

Work Environment
The position involves working a Monday to Friday 8-hour shift, totaling a 40-hour work week. You will be part of a crew that is expected to grow from 35 to 80 team members. It is important to have your own tools for this role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
