Maintenance Technician 1st and 2nd shift.
The maintenance technician will work independently to perform maintenance, repair, and/or modification of the plant's computer-driven control systems. This role involves the fabrication, application, installation, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical equipment, as well as the installation of electrical conduit and machine building wiring. The position is primarily electrical, but may also require assisting with mechanical issues or two-person jobs when necessary. As a member of the maintenance team, you will spend 90% of your time on the floor troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of CNC equipment, production equipment, and various support machines.
Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs of equipment, including equipment moves and installation of both electrical and pneumatic aspects.
Work on continuous improvements of machinery to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Update the maintenance work order system by creating PMs, adding and removing equipment and parts, and assigning work orders and projects.
Read, interpret, and modify electrical prints and schematics, documenting all changes made.
Ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA codes, and handle work in explosion-proof and intrinsically safe environments.
Essential Skills
3+ years of PLC troubleshooting experience.
5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience with knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with electrical work involving 480 volts.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency in preventive and corrective maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to repair CNC equipment.
Knowledge of relay testing and hydraulics.
Experience in reading and interpreting schematics.
Understanding of pneumatic systems.
Capability to troubleshoot PLCs.

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled, well-lit, and clean facility where most people work individually or in small groups. The work involves machines such as CNC lathes and mills, heat treating, grinding, and automation equipment. The shifts include 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm and 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
