Description
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee consolidations and reporting functions within our organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial processes and systems. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial records.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure proper maintenance and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, acting as a key contact for external auditors.
• Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Create and post journal entries to maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Utilize SAP to streamline financial consolidation and planning processes.
• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and consolidation processes.
Requirements
• Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Strong expertise in financial statement preparation and consolidations.
• Familiarity with account reconciliation and journal entry processes.
• Proficiency in SAP for financial planning and consolidation.
• Solid understanding of financial audits and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
