Job overview
You will strategically direct and lead large teams of IT and technology professionals, driving the development, delivery, and optimization of enterprise platforms and services. You’ll operate at the intersection of product management, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure platforms—ensuring technology investments align with business goals, deliver measurable value, and scale reliably across the organization. Your leadership will influence long-term strategy, operational excellence, and innovation across a global environment.
What you’ll do
Lead product and platform strategy for enterprise technology services, ensuring clear value propositions, measurable outcomes, and alignment with business priorities.
Direct and mentor large, multi-layered teams across IT domains including software delivery, systems architecture, infrastructure, and operations.
Drive end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, overseeing the software development lifecycle, project execution, resource planning, and budget alignment.
Partner with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and business leaders to define long-term strategy, investment priorities, and roadmap execution.
Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, integration, and performance of technology platforms.
Champion innovation and continuous improvement by integrating emerging technologies, improving reliability, and optimizing cost, performance, and scalability.
What you’ll need
Experience leading large-scale IT operations and enterprise platforms across software, infrastructure, and systems domains.
Expertise in software development lifecycle management, including design, delivery, and operational optimization.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud and hybrid platforms, and infrastructure technologies.
Experience managing complex programs including budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor coordination.
Ability to drive product lifecycle management, including roadmap development, rationalization, and performance tracking.
Demonstrated ability to align technical strategy with business outcomes and enterprise goals.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science or related field desired.
10+ years of related experience in IT, technology strategy, product management, or enterprise platforms.
Proven experience leading large teams, including supervising leaders and senior staff.
Strong background influencing hiring, performance management, and organizational development decisions.
Experience working across cross-functional initiatives with architecture, product, and infrastructure organizations.
Experience in large-scale, high-reliability or regulated environments preferred.

Our AVP-Product & Enterprise Technology Strategy, earns between $227,600 - $382,300 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
