Job Description

The Electrician will support project execution through hands-on electrical work in an industrial manufacturing setting that involves more commercial and residential style tasks. Working under the direction of a Lead Electrician, this role focuses on conduit bending and installation, wire pulling, lugging, and other core electrical activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes.

Responsibilities

  • Bend, install, and secure EMT, rigid, and other types of conduit according to project drawings and specifications.

  • Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

  • Perform lugging, including proper preparation, installation, and torqueing of lugs.

  • Assist with the installation of electrical equipment, panels, and raceway systems.

  • Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, schematics, and written instructions to complete assigned tasks.

  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for conduit work, wiring, and equipment installation.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the project.

  • Follow all job site safety policies, procedures, and best practices at all times.

  • Communicate effectively with the Lead Electrician and other team members to support project milestones and resolve on-site issues.

  • Support general electrical tasks as needed to keep the project on schedule and within quality standards.

Essential Skills

  • Proven hands-on experience working in the electrical trade.

  • Strong understanding of conduit bending techniques, including EMT and rigid conduit.

  • Proficiency in electrical wiring methods, including pulling, routing, and terminating conductors.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and working on ladders or lifts.

  • Familiarity with electrical tools, materials, and standard safety practices.

  • Dependable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned tasks.

  • Ability to follow direction and work effectively under the supervision of a Lead Electrician.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a field installation team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience running conduit in industrial, commercial, or residential environments.

  • Comfort using a variety of hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure installations meet quality and code requirements.

  • Solid communication skills to coordinate work with supervisors and team members.

This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
