Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term career development. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice reconciliation and 3-way matching.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Perform 3-way matching to verify purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all necessary documentation is in place for smooth processing.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis.

• Conduct coding and account allocation for invoices in adherence to accounting standards.

• Process payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and handle check runs as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of payable invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve payment issues. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in accounts payable.

• Proficiency in performing 3-way match processes and understanding purchase orders.

• Experience with QuickBooks is highly preferred.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with processing ACH payments and handling check runs.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of invoices.

• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.
