Job description
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Install parts/ items that have been flagged for repair or replacement
- Clean up and reset workstations in the shop and on the service truck
- Regional traveling for mobile repairs
- General repairs to vehicles
- Other job duties as assigned
Academic, Certifications & Trade Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Understanding of basic and fractional math
- Class E Driver’s license with clean driving record required, CDL preferred
Work Experience, Skills & Strengths
- Mechanically inclined with mechanical experience in medium & heavy vehicles, preferred
- Able to lift and carry 75LBS unassisted
- Be able to stand, crouch, and be on your knees for long periods of time
- Able to maneuver around heavy machinery and drive service truck
- Air tight MIG welding experience required
- Pipe welding experience and welding certification preferred
- Ability to be on call and travel, regionally, to accomplish axle repair work
- Healthy in fast paced environments and willingness to work a flexible shift
- Must have or be willing to acquire tools for position
- Leads, mentors, and motivates others
- Self-starter and highly organized

-Increase in salary after completion of training & certification plus additional compensation during holiday and weekend callouts.
