Job Title: Concrete Mixing Operator

Location: Tampa, FL

Shift: First Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $16-17/hr

Responsibilities

• Communicate with crew members about workload status.

• Execute clean-up procedures at the end of the workday.

• Batch concrete loads according to specifications.

• Print and file invoice tickets for each truck/load.

• Accurately proportion materials for ready mix and asphalt material trucks.

• Manage inventory control of raw materials, additives, and specialized materials.

• Notify suppliers of production needs.

• Collaborate with Production, Transportation, and Dispatch departments regarding material delivery.

• Operate a front-end loader when needed.

• Dump mix from tub into pour bucket.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, mixing, chemical handling, machine operation, and batching.

• Knowledge of precast concrete processes.

• Experience as a batch operator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with front-end loaders.

• Ability to maintain equipment clean and safe.

• Perform utility tasks such as shoveling and water hosing.

• Perform miscellaneous work with loader as assigned by Quarry Manager or Lead man.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
