Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker for our mail warehouse that sorts mail for specific customers to be sent out. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be on your feet all day and moving quickly. The facility processes an average of 36,000 letters per hour. As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for moving, sorting, and weighing letters.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail and place them in bins.

• Assist in feeding high volumes of mail into a machine that separates them into 30 different slots by zip code.

• Keep up with the machine by emptying slots and ensuring all barcodes are printed on envelopes.

• Place sorted mail into bins above your head and, once full, lift and place them on a cart behind you.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of experience in a fast-paced environment such as fast food or warehouse.

• Ability to pay close attention to detail while working quickly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in picking, packaging, and material handling.

Work Environment

This is a climate-controlled warehouse with about 5 individuals per shift. The dress code is casual, and comfortable shoes are recommended as you will be on your feet. Mats are provided on the floor for cushioning, ensuring you are not walking on hard floors throughout your shift. The shift hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.30/hr.
