Heavy Equipment Operator needed in Colorado Springs, CO $25-$29HR- Weekly pay!

A growing construction company is looking for an all-around heavy equipment operator out in the Colorado Springs area. Equipment operator's will need to have experience in utilizing track hoes, skid steer and loaders. They will first be working out in Pueblo and transition to Lone Tree, CO. Job description:

  • Operating heavy equipment on commercial construction sites for the installation of underground utilities for new build construction.

  • Operator will be digging trenches, laying pipe, backfilling trenches, and cutting grading.

  • The operator will also be required to get out of equipment and help with all aspects of work as needed from digging with shovels to laying pipe.

  • Mainly working from Castle Rock to Pueblo.

Skills Desired

  • Can effectively cut grades (excavator/loader/skid) to +/- 0.10’

  • Ability to interpret specs/drawings

  • Loader, skid steer, and track hoe experience

  • Use Level and laser - be able to shoot grades

Shift

  • 7-3:30 Monday - Friday but currently working 7-4:30 Monday - Saturday.

  • Consistently 40 hours when weather agrees with construction, aiming for 45-50

Work Environment + Benefits:

  • Working on parking garages and new construction sites

  • Weekly pay and full benefits (medical, dental, vision)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Most benefits offered below start at the employee's 90 day employment date.

Primary Care benefit - (not health insurance, no major medical - covers primary care only) $79/month per person. The employee coverage is paid after one year of service. Employees must pay for any dependents.

Life Insurance - term/$150,000 - paid by Employer.

Retirement - offered through the Colorado SecureSavings program, 5% of gross wages, no company match.

Vacation - one week paid after 1 year of service. two weeks after 2 years of service.

Paid holidays - Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day.

Sick Time - effective upon employment, Colorado standards - 1 hour for every 30 worked, up to a max of 48 hours/year. No carry over.
